Nanyang Siang Pau reported that a police officer told a family in Pahang to seek the services of a bomoh over the death of the father in a hit-and-run incident.

The Lee family from Kuantan claimed that the officer was arrogant and lackadaisical in his work. Lee Guang Ming, 62, was hit by a car and died in the accident in Tanjung Lumpur last Wednesday.

The following day, his eldest son, 38, went to see the police officer to ask him on progress in the investigations.

"The officer said police could not proceed with the case because there were no witnesses and no one had come forward to lodge report," the son said.
