MH17: Government yet to decide on return of victims' bodies, says Zahid

SEPANG - The Government has yet to decide whether bodies of Malaysian victims in the MH17 tragedy will be brought back one a single occasion or in stages.

Home Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the main focus of the search teams was to retrieve bodies or body parts from the crash site.

"We are waiting for the instructions from Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

"As of now, 62 bodies have not been accounted for and the teams have started searching a lake located near the crash site as there could be a possibility that some victims might have been strewn into the lake," he told a news conference upon arriving from Ukraine on Wednesday.

Ahmad Zahid said the search at the lake involved divers from Australia, Netherlands and Malaysia.

He added that the Malaysian divers were from the VAT 69.
