PETALING JAYA - MIC president G. Palanivel has denied making candid comments about party members and Malaysian Indians. He said a video that has gone viral was a doctored one.

"The contents of the video clip have been doctored and are completely untrue. I have never made and will never make such untrue statements or remarks," said Palanivel in a statement.

The three-minute video, uploaded on the Kitchen UP TV Facebook page, shows a man resembling Palanivel commenting on his lower majority in the last general election and his dim view of Malaysian Indians and MIC members.

Palanivel said he would lodge a police report regarding the video clip.
