Nude man and woman found dead in car

MALAYSIA - A woman was shocked to find the nude bodies of her husband and a woman in his car in Ipoh.

Perak deputy police chief A. Paramasivam said the wife had lodged a missing person report at 7.55pm on Friday after her 58-year-old husband, a hardware store manager, failed to return home.

She was so worried about her husband, Mr Loke Yoke Kim, that just an hour after filing the report, she decided to look for him herself.

Mr Paramasivam told the New Straits Times: "She and her family went to her husband's hardware store at 9pm and saw smoke coming out from the garage.

"Fearing the worse, they decided to pull up the roller shutter and found his body together with a 51-year old woman in the car."

His store is located behind a budget hotel.

The woman was identified as Ms Yan Wai Leng.

Mr Paramasivam added that a green Iswara Aeroback car, believed to be Ms Yan's, was found outside the shop.

Preliminary investigations showed there were no injuries on the bodies of both victims, he said.

Further investigations into the case are being carried out and police have not classified the case as yet.

"We will look at the autopsy report and see if it is a murder or suicide case," he said. Police have declined to speculate on the relationship between the two victims.
