Owner claims deity won't let Hindu temple be relocated

THE owner of an illegally built Hindu temple in Hulu Selangor has claimed that the deity, known as Amman, has refused him permission to move to the site allocated by the local council, reported Malaysia Nanban.

Council members who met the temple owner were told that he did not have the "divine permission" of the goddess Amman to move elsewhere.

Apparently, the owner has been told to move out by Nov 16.

An activist said the temple should accept the offer of an alternative site by the district land office.
