KUALA LUMPUR - The court will re-mention the case of Persana Avril Sollunda, who was charged with stripping in public in Petaling Street here, on Aug 10.

Magistrate Nur Aminahtul Mardiah Md Nor decided this yesterday after deputy public prosecutor Noor Svetlana Mohd Noor Nordin said they had yet to obtain Sollunda's mental health report from Hospital Bahagia in Perak.

The 33-year-old part-time model was released from the psychiatric hospital last Friday.

Sollunda arrived at the courtroom alone. Her brother Peter Alvin joined her later.

She had been ordered to undergo a month-long psychiatric evaluation under Section 342 of the Criminal Procedure Code on May 29.

The court then extended it for another month to allow the hospital to have more time to prepare Sollunda's health report.

The accused had pleaded not guilty on April 28 to a charge under Section 294 of the Penal Code of committing an obscene act in public.

She had previously been warded at a psychiatric hospital in Kota Kinabalu.

She was charged in a magistrate's court on April 28 after failing to settle a bill of about RM18 (S$6.40) at a chicken rice shop in Petaling Street.

She was detained on April 25.
