PM Najib's visit spurs repairs at Tamil school

CONDITIONS in SJK(T) Dengkil have improved following Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak's surprise visit on Oct 29, reported Tamil dailies.

During the visit, Najib inspected the school and ordered the Education Ministry to carry out urgent and critical repairs on the electrical wiring and the roof.

Deputy Education Minister P. Kamalanathan and Hulu Selangor MP was reported as saying on Facebook that the repairs had started and would be completed in time for the new school session next year.

Work was also being carried out to cover up a smelly drain and refurbish the science laboratory and canteen.
