KUALA LUMPUR - A policeman died of a heart attack while on the massage table at a Sungai Besi parlour.
The 47-year-old corporal visited the traditional massage parlour in Medan Niaga Tasik Utama 7 at about 9.15pm on Saturday, said Cheras OCPD Asst Comm Chong Kok Sin.
He was massaged by a Thai woman but was said to have become unresponsive after about 15 minutes.
"The masseuse tried to wake him up but found that he was already unconscious. An ambulance was called to the scene at about 10.20pm and the man was pronounced dead," ACP Chong said.
A post-mortem at the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Hospital revealed that the officer died of a heart attack.
ACP Chong said the case had been classified as sudden death.
