A teacher at a government school in Punjab, India, allegedly strip-searched 13 female pupils after Rs500 (S$10.70)) went missing from her purse, reported Malaysia Nanban.

The Standard Seven pupils said Harjith Kaur made them stand in a straight line and forced them to remove their uniforms when searching for the missing money.

Upon hearing of the pupils' humiliating experience, their parents complained to the police about the teacher's improper behaviour.

Police are now looking for the teacher, who has gone into hiding.
