PETALING JAYA - Sex blogger Alvin Tan, who once posted naked pictures of himself and his then girlfriend, has gone quiet online.

A check on his Facebook page revealed no activity since May 25 when Tan, whose whereabouts are unknown after he skipped bail, posted a selfie.

His Twitter account, @AlviviSwingers, which he shared with Vivian Lee has also been dormant since May 20. The last post was a portrait of her with a hyperlink to another blog.

Checks on the couple's YouTube channel SexcussionsAlvivi also shows inactivity as the last video was uploaded in March. Lee however remains active on her Facebook page.

The Straits Times recently revealed that Tan is not in Singapore.

Lawyer Chong Joo Tian, who was representing Tan, said his client should have returned his passport to the Malaysian police on June 3, after a trip to Singapore in May to film a documentary.

Attempts to reach Tan since June have been unsuccessful. Chong was quoted as saying that Tan's mother, Lee and he tried to contact the sex blogger, but his mobile phone was switched off.

Interpol is on the hunt for Tan to get him to return to Malaysia and face trial over several charges against him.

The 26-year-old Tan and his ex-girlfriend Lee, 25, regained temporary possession of their passports on May 18, but only Lee showed up on June 3 to return her travel document.

Both Tan and Lee claimed trial last year to three charges under the Film Censorship Act, Sedition Act and the Penal Code.

Tan and Lee - known as the Alvivi pair after shooting to fame with their now-defunct Sumptuous Erotica sex blog - still face two charges under the Film Censorship Act and Sedition Act for an insensitive "Ramadan greeting" that was posted on their blog last year.

The Sessions Court has issued a warrant of arrest for Tan and forfeited his RM20,000 (S$7,930) bail after he failed to return his passport last Friday.
