Singapore drug syndicate crippled in Johor

Police have crippled a Singapore drug syndicate that used Johor as the base for drug processing, with the arrests of eight people, reported China Press.

Bukit Aman's Special Tactical Intelligence Narcotics Group (Sting) nabbed the suspects, including the Singaporean mastermind, in raids at three places in Johor Baru.

The assortment of drugs seized are estimated to be worth RM6 million (S$1.9 million). Police also seized 140 bullets and a grenade in the raids.
