Snookered - govt servants caught playing truant after Friday prayers

Sin Chew Daily reported that several government servants were caught playing truant after performing Friday prayers in Selangor here.

A surprise raid carried out by the State Secretariat Integrity Unit found them having "tea break" and playing snooker during office hours.

The unit, led by state secretary Datuk Mohammed Khusrin Munawi, made the move after receiving public tip-off.

Mohammed Khusrin took the civil servants to task on his Facebook page, slamming them for their "shameful" act as some of them were wearing uniforms while playing snooker.

"I have directed their superiors to take action against them, including disciplinary action," he was quoted by the daily as saying.
