Stop PAS' hudud agenda, MCA urges Wan Azizah
PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail made her return to the Dewan rakyat for the first time in almost seven years.

PETALING JAYA - Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail must see that the real crisis facing Pakatan Rakyat is DAP and PKR's inability to stop PAS' hudud ambition.

Therefore, the tabling of a Bill in Parliament on implementation of hudud should not be PKR's agenda, said MCA publicity bureau chairman Datuk Chai Kim Sen.

It would be more practical for the PKR president, who recently returned to Parliament after winning the Permatang Pauh by-election, to join hands with DAP to stop PAS from tabling the hudud Bill.

Chai said stopping PAS' hudud ambition should be Dr Wan Azizah's priority, instead of fulfilling her "three promises" - holding talks among the three parties to form a common policy framework; setting up a Pakatan shadow Cabinet; and having a parliamentary budget committee.

He added that Dr Wan Azizah must also perform in her role as parliamentary opposition leader.
