IPOH - A teenager has left home, leaving a note saying she wanted to seek a job to help the family make ends meet.
Koy Kang Yee (pic), 15, left her home in Kampung Tawas here on Sept 29.
"Don't worry about me. I will find work to help the family," said the note, which was discovered in her room by her elder brother at about 2pm that day.
School canteen operator Peh Mee Yin, 37, said she was shocked by her daughter's disappearance.
"She is a good child. She has never caused any trouble for the family," she told a press conference held by Perak MCA public service and complaints bureau chief Jimmy Loh here yesterday.
Loh urged those with information to call 05-253 6981 or 010-396 8616 or go to the nearest police station.
