There's no stopping boy born without arms

ALTHOUGH Wahyu Eqwal Nazrey was born without arms, the Sandakan boy is eager to start kindergarten like any five-year-old, reported Sin Chew Daily.

It was reported that Wahyu's application to enrol for classes was turned down by seven kindergartens before Sandakan MP Stephen Wong finally got him a place in a pre-school class at SK Sungai Anib 1.

During an interview, the boy had expressed his delight in going to kindergarten.

Wahyu had said that his classmates were very helpful and had even helped carry his school bag.

Despite being born with a disability, Wahyu had adapted himself well, feeding himself and even completing his colouring homework with his legs, the report said.

His parents said they hoped to find an art teacher for the boy, who is the second of three siblings.

Upon learning about Wahyu's condition, local artist Leong Kien Man had expressed his wish to teach him, the report said.
