A woman's right foot was stuck in a toilet bowl for more than an hour before she was finally rescued with the help of the Fire Department, reported Harian Metro.
The housewife from Pasir Mas had entered her home squat toilet at about 4.20pm on Sunday evening when she slipped and fell.
Zamilah Ismail, 49, then realised that her right foot was stuck in the toilet bowl.
Her husband, Shamsudin Seman, 53, said he had been heading to the mosque near his home when his youngest daughter called him, urging him to return home quickly.
"At first, I thought my daughter needed money. I was shocked when she told me that her mother had slipped and fell in the toilet and her foot was stuck.
"I rushed home and saw my son trying to help pull his mother's leg out of the hole.
"I tried to help by rubbing some soap on her foot but we still could not get it out," he said.
He then called the Fire Department which arrived shortly and managed to remove his wife's leg from the hole.
Zamilah was then rushed to the Pasir Mas Hospital for treatment and underwent an X-ray screening to check for any broken bones.
"Luckily, she only had bruises and a sprained ankle," said her husband.
