Fans of Japanese cuisine are in for a treat at Changi Airport Terminal 2's new gourmet food hall.
Named SORA - 'sky' in Japanese - the 300-seater dining enclave is located in the public area on level 3.
There, diners can take their pick from six popular Japanese restaurant brands.
They include chicken ramen chain Menya Takeichi known for its Chicken Paitan Ramen and Kuro Maguro that serves rice dishes with seafood flown in daily from Japan.
Tendon Kohaku specialises in Edomae-style tendon (rice topped with tempura) while Tokyo Sundubu offers hearty Korean stew rich in collagen.
Making their debut in Singapore are renowned okonomiyaki chain Tsuruhashi Fugetsu from Osaka and Japoli Kitchen which serves up Italian dishes with a Japanese touch.
Diners can choose to enjoy their food at booth seats or soak in the full Japanese dining experience with the tatami seating.
