Shoppers in Beijing hop on virtual Train to Busan

Friday, Dec 07, 2018

Watch out, the zombies are after you!

This December, shoppers at a shopping mall in Beijing are putting on virtual reality headsets for an immersive Train To Busan experience.

They're taken on a scary ride as they navigate three zones - the outbreak, the last train out, and fight to live.

During the 30-minute journey, fans of the hit Korean movie can dodge zombies at an infected train station, go on a 4D roller coaster ride, or pick up a weapon and wipe out them in a VR shooting game.

The event runs from Dec 1, 2018 to Feb 24, 2019 at Beijing's Hopson One Mall, and is produced by Singapore's virtual reality studio Vividthree Productions.
