The Z30 is an upsized BlackBerry with a 5-inch display and a bigger battery. Looks like BlackBerry is following the path of smartphone-makers who have embraced larger screen sizes.
The Z30 is the follow-up to the Z10, the first BlackBerry device with the BlackBerry 10 OS.
Hopefully, it will be better received than the Z10 and the Q10. Some even say this could well be the last BlackBerry device, as the company is in talks with potential buyers.
Key features of the Z30 include:
BlackBerry Priority Hub, a feature which collects priority messages across a user's e-mail, social-networking and other accounts, and gives instant access to the conversations that are most important.
Five-inch Super Amoled display. The phone is powered by a 1.7GHz CPU with quad-core graphics.
New antenna technology which promises faster data transfers and fewer dropped calls.
With battery enhancements in the new BlackBerry 10.2 OS and a 2880mAh battery, BlackBerry says the device can be used for up to 25 hours (mixed use).
