SINGAPORE - Chinese PC maker Lenovo announced on Wednesday the latest additions to its PC and Multimode devices range.
The MIXX 2, which is part of the Multimode line up, comes in three modes - a tablet mode, laptop mode, and stand mode, while the FLEX 2 can work in either the laptop or stand mode.
The world's biggest personal computer maker also unveiled the Y, G and Z series clamshell laptops, with different processors for each series.
The Y series is targeted at gamers, being equipped with the 4th generation Intel Core i7 processor, NVIDIA GeForce graphics card and JBL speakers.
Four Android tablets were also introduced to the PC Plus family - the Yoga tablet 10 HD+, and the new A series tablets comprising the TAB A7, TAB A8 and TAB A10.
Similar to its predecessors, the Yoga tablet 10 HD+ comes in three modes - hold, tilt and stand. It also features a 10.1-inch 20/20 vision display and full HD 1920X1200 resolution.
It is the only device to run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean while the remaining three new products in the A series will run on Android 4.2.
The screen size for the three new A series tablets corresponds to their model numbers - 7" display for TAB A7, 8" display for the TAB A8 and 10.1" display for the TAB A10.
All three tablets are powered by a quad-core processor and come with a 5 MP rear camera and 2 MP front camera.
A free upgrade to the latest Android KitKat 4.4 will be available for all four devices, although Lenovo has yet to confirm the timing.
Lenovo's Yoga tablet 10 HD+ will come with its DOit apps, which were launched at the Mobile World Congress in February. This is a suite of apps that offer sharing, syncing and protection solutions.
Lenovo, which reported a 29 per cent jump in annual net profits to S$1 billion on Wednesday, will be launching these devices during next month's PC Show 2014, with the exception of G series that is already available, and the Yoga tablet 10 HD+, which will be available from mid-June.
