M1 customers to get free calls, SMS and MMS on Sundays in April

SINGAPORE - M1 mobile customers will enjoy free calls and SMS/ MMS messages every Sunday this April as part of its Sunshine Sundays customer appreciation campaign, marking 17 years of operations.

Besides free calls and messages, M1 customers can also look forward to 1-for-1 treats and special discounts on handsets in April.

"Sunday is the day when most of us have a bit more free time. With free calls, we hope our customers will take the opportunity to pick up their phone and share some love and laughter with those they care about most," said Mr P. Subramaniam, Chief Marketing Officer of M1.

M1 currently provides mobile and fixed services to over 2 million customers.

Established in 1997, M1 became the the first operator in Singapore to offer 4G service in June 21, 2011. Nationwide 4G coverage was achieved in Sept 15, 2012.
