HEADPHONE

WeSC Piston Bluetooth On-Ear Headphones, $139

Prevent tangles by using these wireless headphones from WeSC. These minimalist headphones fit snugly over the ears, using Bluetooth to play music wirelessly.

The battery is good for up to 10 hours of music playback and over 200 hours on standby.

A built-in microphone lets you talk using the headphones and an additional headphone jack lets you share your music.

They are available in navy, red or black.

DIGITAL CAMERA

Canon PowerShot N100, $449

Taking its cue from the selfie craze, this compact camera features a second rear-facing lens on the back, so you can take a selfie while you photograph your subject.

The camera's 3-inch touchscreen can be flipped up by 90 degrees, allowing for creative shots from interesting angles.

It uses a 12.1-megapixel 1/1.7-inch CMOS sensor and is powered by Canon's own Digic 6 image processor.

Built-in Wi-Fi and Near Field Communication make sharing videos and images easy, while Canon's app offers the option of remote viewing and shooting.

IP CAMERA

Sineoji PT339V HD IP Camera, $199

Providing an extra layer of home or workplace security, this camera offers real-time remote viewing in high-definition (720p) resolution on smartphones, PCs and tablets. It is suitable for monitoring infants and elderly folk at home, or for work use.

The camera is equipped with an infrared LED filter for viewing in dark or dimly lit areas, as well as a microphone and speaker for two-way audio communication.

An app available in Apple and Android app stores allows for remote recording, while an SD card slot provides external storage.

HEADSET

Plantronics Voyager Edge Bluetooth Headset, $219

Plantronics' new lightweight Bluetooth headset offers proprietary noise- and wind-cancellation to suppress background noise and keep communication clear in any environment.

The headset supports voice commands, so a user can answer or ignore calls without removing it. He can also check the battery level and connection status this way.

Audio alerts announce a caller's name, so there is no need to check the phone to see who is calling.

The headset provides up to six hours of talk time.

MOUSE

Ergoworks Contour Mouse, $99

This unusual-looking mouse is designed to sit comfortably and naturally in your hand.

Where most of its kind have two buttons, this one has three. The third button replaces the scroll wheel found on most mice, making clicking the middle mouse button as easy as a regular click.

The scroll wheel now rests on the left side of the mouse, letting you scroll using your thumb.

Much longer than conventional mouse buttons, the three buttons make clicking easier on your hand. The mouse comes in varying sizes, allowing you to choose the one most comfortable for your hand.

TABLE LAMP

Philips and Disney Softpal, $72.90

If your child is afraid of the dark, these adorable night lights may help him to get over his fears.

Soft, squeezable and child-friendly, each is shaped like a Disney cartoon character and is safe to hold.

Its LED light emits a soft glow, but stays cool to the touch. It is also portable.

Mickey Mouse is a lightweight at 340g. Sulley or Mike of Monsters Inc fame weigh 372g and 458g respectively. Minnie Mouse tips the scales at 540g.

When the Softpal needs juice, put it on the induction charging dock to charge it wirelessly.
