SINGAPORE - Samsung has announced the launch of the new Galaxy Tab 3 (7.0).

Armed with a 1.7GHz (1.2GHz for Wi-Fi version) dual-core processor, it runs on the Android Jelly Bean platform, and includes dual cameras (3MP / 1.3MP) for video chatting, taking shots of others, or even perfectly-framed photos of yourself. Web browsing is also made more robust and reliable with the LTE connectivity and Wi-Fi Channel Bonding. Designed to fit comfortably in one hand, the Galaxy Tab 3 (7.0) with LTE also lets you make voice or video calls anytime, conveniently.

The Galaxy Tab 3 (7.0) (8GB) will be available in white from 5 September at $498 for the LTE version (without contract) and $298 for the Wi-Fi version at telcos, major consumer electronics and IT stores, and Samsung Experience Stores.
