SINGAPORE - As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance mobile coverage in MRT stations and tunnels, SingTel has completed upgrades of its 3G and 4G network along the North-East Line (NEL).
Upgrades have also been completed at 12 stations along the Circle Line, such as Botanic Gardens, Harbourfront, Holland Village and Farrer Road stations.
To avoid disruption to MRT services, work can only be performed during hours when trains are not in operation, the telco said.
SingTel said it is working with SMRT to obtain more maintenance sessions to expedite the upgrades on the other lines and will provide updates in due course.
Regular updates and schedules for all current and upcoming mobile network upgrades are available from the SingTel website at www.singtel.com/network.
