SINGAPORE - SingTel's SMS services have been restored, said the telco on its Facebook page on Tuesday afternoon, following reports that users were experiencing intermittent difficulties in sending and receiving SMS messages.
"However, some applications which use SMS may take a little longer to come back on line," read the Facebook post. It came about two hours after an earlier status update alerted customers to the issue.
SingTel had said in that post that its engineers were investigating the problem, and that it was working to restore the services as quickly as possible.
