An SD memory card that backs up data is nothing special.

Sony's proprietary Real-time Backup Utility makes backup copies of files, which can also be encrypted.
There is a 30-day trial that allows this software to be used with SD cards made by other companies. After the trial period ends, it will work only with Sony SD cards.
