Sweat it out with hardy headset

Fitness junkies would welcome the new Jabra Sport Wireless headset, which is the answer to the needs of those who exercise regularly - be it sweating it out at the gym, running or cycling.

Singapore's hot and humid climate - and sweat - takes a heavy toll on headsets. And they do not usually stay in place because of the rigours of exercise.

Jabra's Sport wireless headset addresses sweat, rain, dust and shock issues by providing Certified Military Grade IP54 earplugs.

The ruggedised headset can be dropped from a height of 1.5m, bent 5,000 times and the neck cable pulled with a force of 3kg without snapping.

And to secure the earplugs, ear loops are incorporated into the design, minimising the likelihood of the headset falling off.

There is a built-in FM radio and a single charge provides up to 41/2 hours of music listening or talk time and five days of standby time. Seven pairs of eargels come with the set, offering different levels of fit.

The Jabra Sport Wireless pairs with up to eight devices and can have two active connections at a time.

How much: $148
