Apple co-founder Steve Jobs put items into a time-capsule and buried it during a conference at Colorado he attended in 1983.
The conference's theme was "The Future Isn't What It Used To Be" and the capsule was to be opened in the year 2000 but its location was lost.
Online reports stated that a team from a National Geographic Channel show, Diggers have found it and excavated it from the ground.
Notably the capsule contains an Apple Lisa mouse, placed inside by Jobs himself.
While the Diggers team hasn't come across that yet, they discovered a six-pack of Ballantine Ale, name tags, and many photographs amongst the thousands of contents inside.
The Aspen Historical Society will help the crew catalog the contents, reports Laughing Squid.
