Aimee Chan, the wife of Hong Kong TVB actor Moses Chan, has given birth to a baby boy, reported China Press.
Aimee announced the good news in a Weibo micro blog posting titled "Christmas Baby" in which she attached two photographs of her son.
The actress also left a message that reads: "Our lives have found new meaning the minute this little treasure was born..."
Thousands of fans left congratulatory messages as well as shared the posting.
The daily also reported that a construction worker from Bukit Mertajam was blackmailed into paying RM2,000 (S$772) after his face was superimposed on a series of naked photographs.
It was reported that the man, in his 20s, had befriended a woman believed to be a Filipina on Skype.
The man claimed that the woman had taken off her clothes minutes after they started chatting before asking him to bank in RM8,000 into an account in the Philippines.
When the man refused to do so, the woman sent him a 16-second video clip showing photographs of him naked and also in compromising positions.
She threatened to upload the clip on the Internet if he did not pay up within 15 minutes.
Panicked, the man negotiated with the woman and finally banked in RM2,000 into the account.
The man only realised that he had not taken any of the photographs after he calmed down. He subsequently lodged a police report.
