USB desk fans, available in three colours, are going for 10 per cent off. They are priced from $39.

With its simple designs and wide range of merchandise, Japanese brand Muji has, over the years, grown to be a hit with many Singaporeans.

Now, it is set to expand its presence here with two new stores, adding to its seven outlets nationwide.

The new additions will be located at VivoCity and Changi Airport Terminal 2, with their grand opening scheduled for July 3.

Muji VivoCity, which will have a soft launch on June 18, will be the first in Singapore to have a kids'-wear section.

In the meantime, the current Muji stores will be offering discounts as part of this year's Great Singapore Sale (GSS).

With the weather in the months ahead expected to get warmer, Muji is offering 10 per cent off its USB desk fans from now till June 26.

There are two versions. The one that can rotate costs $49, while the other costs $39.

The rotating version comes in white and is able to oscillate 80 degrees horizontally. The non-rotating version is available in white, black, blue and pink, and is adjustable within a 30-degree range.

Until June 26, there is a special offer for Muji's teas, which can be prepared with cold water. The teas come in five flavours, including pomegranate and rose hip, white peach as well as jasmine.

Shoppers can get 10 per cent off if they buy any two packets of the teas, priced between $5.60 and $6.90 each.

Selected pyjamas for both men and women are selling at a discount of 30 per cent. There are some 20 designs to choose from, including checks, stripes and polka dots, in varying colours.

The usual price for women's pyjamas was $69, while the men's range varied between $59 and $79.

Those who have a habit of misplacing items can take a look at Muji's cotton pouches, which are going for $10 each. They are usually priced at $13 to $16.

Hurry down to Muji before stocks run out.
