'Finger trap test' lets you know if you're good-looking or not

If so, congratulations - you're defined as beautiful by China's standards.

The "finger trap test" has taken China by storm, where thousands of Weibo users, including celebrities, have posted photos of themselves carrying out the test on the popular social networking website.

According to a post on Vocativ.com, the method - which is loosely based on the 3:1 ratio that cosmetic surgeons use, is currently trending in over 200,000 Weibo discussions, largely among women.

However, if you don't score too well on the test, don't be discouraged.

According to this method, Angelina Jolie and Jessica Alba would also be considered as ugly, having failed the test.
