Malaysia - Eleven luxury cars were used in the wedding entourage of national badminton doubles player Koo Kien Keat on his big day, reported China Press.
The posh cars included Bentleys, Lamborghinis, Ferraris and Nissan GT-Rs.
Koo, 28, and his team - comprising his badminton partner Tan Boon Heong, fellow players Gan Teik Chai and Ong Soon Hock - arrived at the bride's house in Kuala Lumpur at 9.20am on Wednesday.
After passing all the "challenges" set by the bridesmaids, he was allowed to meet Audrey Tan Su Yen, his 25-year-old assistant turned wife.
"Due to the many important matches next year, including the Thomas Cup and Asian Games, I hope you will understand; but I promise I will do my best to spend more time with you," Koo pledged to his bride.
The couple served tea for the elderly relatives in Audrey's family.
The couple's wedding banquet will be held tomorrow for their relatives and friends. Koo will leave for the Denmark Open the following day.
The couple registered their marriage last Saturday.
