You are never too old to be a fan, says luxury jewellery brand Mikimoto, which has collaborated with Sanrio to create a range of jewellery featuring the cat with no mouth.

Prices start from $1,140 for a silver bangle of Hello Kitty's silhouette and embellished with an Akoya pearl, to $33,400 for a necklace in 18K white gold, South Sea pearls and Hello Kitty's signature ribbon studded with diamonds. The collection also includes pendants and earrings.

The items can be pre-ordered at Mikimoto's boutique at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands and at its Takashimaya Department Store boutique this month. They are also available for pre-order at the brand's Centrepoint boutique from Aug 29 to Sept 10.

Customers can expect to receive the pieces by the end of next month.
