Luxe it up with eco-friendly threads at H&M

H&M is showing the world that sustainable clothing can look luxurious.

Its new Conscious Exclusive Collection features materials such as organic leather and silk, which have never been used by the Swedish high-street brand.

Materials, such as organic cotton, recycled polyester and recycled polyamide, were the main fabrics used in its main eco-friendly line - the Conscious Collection.

The Conscious Exclusive Collection was created in collaboration with London-based sustainable design think tank Ever Manifesto.

H&M's collaboration collections with luxury fashion brands have sent shoppers into a frenzy and this one is likely to be equally coveted when it hits Singapore's H&M flagship store at 1 Grange Road next Thursday.

It is a beautiful collection, with intricate embroidery details featured on some of the pieces.

Prices range from $17.90 for an organic leather rose headpiece to $699 for an organic cotton lace gown.
