Seeing stars at StarHub TVB awards

SINGAPORE - An array of Hong Kong's top TV stars, including a stunning Michelle Yim, walked the red carpet to loud screams from fans at the StarHub TVB Awards 2013 at Marina Bay Sands yesterday.

Yim, 58, was the very picture of classic glamour in a blinged-out yellow dress.

At the awards ceremony later, she won an award for My Favourite TVB Female TV Character, for her sympathetic portrayal of Empress Dowager Cixi in the period drama, Cixi.

The biggest acting awards of the night went to Bosco Wong, 32, who turned up in a bold pink outfit and Tavia Yeung, 34. They took home the awards for My Favourite TVB Actor and Actress, respectively.

With them was actress Niki Chow, 34, who won an award for My Favourite TVB Female TV Character. It was for her role as a cop in the mystery drama, A Change Of Heart.

The glitzy annual awards show was organised by StarHub with TVB and awards were given to the Hong Kong broadcaster's stars based on their popularity here.
