SINGAPORE - Shoppers, rejoice: The Great Singapore Sale (GSS) is back with a bang.

From now till July 27, the sale of the year offers deals on many items, ranging from jewellery for women to toys for kids.

Lucky shoppers also stand to get rewarded for making purchases during the sale.

Under the Daily Rewards Promotion by the Singapore Retailers Association, one shopper who spends at least $20 in a single receipt could win $500 in cash every day, and double that if payment is via MasterCard credit cards.

More receipts translate into more chances!

And if you want to drive away in a swanky new car, take part in Singapore Press Holdings' Shop & Win contest by spending at least $50 in one receipt at any outlet with a Shop & Win window decal.

One lucky shopper could be the owner of a Subaru Impreza 1.6i, while another could drive away a Nissan Sylphy 1.8L.

The contest comprises eight weekly draws, with prizes totalling more than $250,000.

Each week, a bonus draw will also be conducted to pick three lucky people who stand to win $500 to shop at Metro on a weekend during the GSS.

Entries should be submitted in a text message to 146077877 in this format: SPHGSS<space>NRIC<space>Date of Purchase<space>Amount Spent<space>Place of Purchase.
