US - She began doodling in class, but wasn't hauled up for not focusing on lessons. Instead, she has been internationally acclaimed.
Miss Jody Steel, a 19-year-old Florida native, does not doodle on paper. She draws on her thigh, which makes the art even more intricate.
She has drawn detailed pictures, often during lectures, and her tattoo-like artwork has attracted thousands of views online and even some job offers.
Since beginning her studies at Emerson College in Boston Massachusetts in 2011, Miss Steel has been diligently working away to create new designs, before washing them off, the Mail Online reported.
Among her most well known pictures are freehand drawings of TV series Breaking Bad character Walter White and Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke.
She has also finished a pen-perfect drawing of Inception star Joseph Gordon Levitt.
She told the Boston Globe: "Obviously you always hope your art will be seen, but I wasn't expecting it to go so big and international."
Miss Steel, an aspiring filmmaker and artist, said drawing has always been second nature to her. So when she didn't have any paper, she decided to use her thigh. It was the "most available thing at the moment", the New York Daily News quoted her as saying.
"It was a lot easier and faster to do the drawings on my legs," she said.
