Taiwanese singer Vanness Wu of boyband F4 and Singaporean designer Arissa Cheo reportedly held their wedding banquet at The Resort Pelican Hill in Los Angeles on Friday.
The couple, who had been dating for seven years, were said to have spent HK$1 million (S$161,000) on the event that had 150 guests attending, reported Mingpao.
According to media reports, Wu and Cheo unveiled their wedding photos at the banquet.
Instead of the traditional wedding attire, the stylish 35-year-old singer and his 31-year-old fashionista wife took on a black-and-white theme, appearing in a variety of casual and evening wear, including a rock-chic look.
The newlyweds were reportedly moved to tears at the wedding ceremony, where their families and friends witnessed the exchanging of rings and vows.
Guests who attended the event included Wu's childhood friend - Sammo Hung's son, Jimmy Hung - and Taiwanese singer Elva Hsiao, who performed I Do at the banquet.
Fellow F4 boyband members Jerry Yan, Vic Chou and Ken Chu were absent due to work.
According to Mingpao, the event was closed to the media and the hotel had strict security, with several dozen guards on patrol. The couple had earlier requested guests not to take photos on the day or to upload to social media.
Wu is said to be returning to Taiwan to hold another banquet. Another one will take place in Singapore in January, before the couple go on honeymoon.
Wu and Cheo first filed their Notice of Marriage in Singapore this year on National Day, Aug 9, and were formally married at the Registry of Marriages in Canning Rise on Nov 7.
