Vivian Hsu weds S'pore-based businessman in Bali

Vivian Hsu wed 36-year-old Singapore-based Indonesian businessman, Sean Lee, on the romantic island of Bali on Sunday.

The 39-year-old Taiwanese singer-actress wore a white Vera Wang gown and rhinestone-encrusted shoes by designer Sergio Rossi, reported Chinese news media.

However, what glittered most was the large rock around her neck - a diamond necklace given to her by her in-laws, according to reports.

Hsu and Lee exchanged their vows at an open-air ceremony held at The Edge Bali Villa, which overlooks the ocean. The romantic setting was further enhanced by flower decorations and a white fabric gazebo.

During the ceremony, Lee seranaded his bride with a song he composed, titled "Till I met you". According to reports, the lyrics were written by Hsu and had lines such as "Till I met you, we believe, what is destiny. We will not leave and forsake each other. I only want to hold you."

Lee also promised Hsu's mother that he will make her daughter "happy forever", prompting the bride to tear up.

Hsu's father was reportedly ill and unable to attend the wedding.

A traditional tea ceremony was held last Thursday in Singapore. The couple will be holding their wedding banquet in Taipei on July 23, with a reported guest list of more than 500.

Taiwanese actress Ruby Lin, a friend of Hsu's for 10 years, was one of the guests at the Bali wedding. She told reporters that "it is hard for a busy actress to find a good husband", and described the ceremony as "touching".

But Lin said her good friend's nuptials also made her wonder when her turn will come. "When will I be touched at my own wedding?" said the actress wistfully, who recently denied reports of her secretly dating Mandopop star Show Luo.

Hsu and Lee were engaged in Taipei in January this year and registered their marriage in Singapore in February. It is the first time down the aisle for Hsu and the second for Lee, who has two daughters from his previous marriage.

The couple have been living in Singapore, where Lee, who is CEO of marine logistics group, Marco Polo Marine, is based.
