Balancing bowl on head is included in this Guangdong school's mid-term exam

CHINA - An elementary school in southern China now requires students to balance a bowl on their heads for at least 10 seconds as part of a physical exam, a move that they believe would help students develop good behavioural habits.

According to english.cri.cn, the idea for the "bowl on the head" test came from the "Bowl Dance".

It is now part of a new exam format for the "Students' Comprehensive Qualities Evaluation", which aims to cultivate good habits.

This new format also includes testing the students on their sitting and standing posture, their performance when lining up in groups and climbing stairs and the tidiness of their desks.
