First feel of new aquatic venue

Fourteen youngsters, aged between 10 and 19, had a whale of a time in the pool yesterday afternoon when they were given a sneak preview of the new OCBC Aquatic Centre at the Singapore Sports Hub.

They are part of a pilot swimming programme run by SportCares, a youth enrichment programme initiated by the national agency Sport Singapore.

The 14 participants were one of the first members of the public to swim in the centre's competitive pool.
