Koen, 12, shows bite in Crocodile Challenge Cup

Koen Pang (pic), 12, of Ngee Ann Primary defeated Joseph Hee of Anglo-Chinese Schoool (Junior) 3-1 in the Primary 5 and Primary 6 boys' final of the Crocodile Challenge Cup at Velocity yesterday.

A total of 232 paddlers from 57 primary schools took part in the tournament organised by the Singapore Table Tennis Association, which began last Wednesday. The champions of the Primary 5 and Primary 6 categories will be sent to the ITTF World Hopes Week and Challenge from June 9-15 at Otocec, Slovenia.
