New takraw kings crowned

SINGAPORE - The Schools National Sepak Takraw Championships ended yesterday at Bedok Sports Hall, with Chua Chu Kang Secondary School (CCKSS) winning the B Division title.

With defending champions Fuchun Secondary School out of the running, having failed to make the semi-finals, the boys of CCKSS defeated powerhouses Changkat Changi Secondary School 2-0 to clinch the title.

In the C Division, Woodlands Secondary School defeated Jurongville Secondary School 2-0 to take the title, ending a barren spell stretching back to 2008.
