2 attacks on childcare centres in 1 day: First obscene graffiti, then PCF website hacked

The PAP Community Foundation website has been hacked by the group of hackers calling themselves 'The Messiah'.

Stomp was alerted to the defaced website by a reader known as Jim Jones, who provided a link to the site and a screengrab.

This is the second case of vandalism targeted at childcare centres today, the first being a case of obscene graffiti scrawled on the wall at Sweetlands Childcare Centre in Woodlands.

Thus far, there is nothing to indicate that the two attacks were linked, and it could well be a coincidence that both acts happened on the same day.

The Messiah had also previously targeted the personal website of singer Sun Ho, wife of City Harvest Church founder Kong Hee.

In the second case, a Stomp reader known as James, was appalled to see obscene graffiti scrawled outside a childcare centre in Woodlands.

According to the contributor, he had noticed another nearby play area near another HDB block also had spray painted graffiti on it as well.

James wrote:

"While taking my son to the Sweetlands Childcare centre in Woodlands, I noticed some vulgarities written on a wall near a vending machine.

"Upon further inspection, the entire front of the childcare centre's wall is covered with graffiti containing vulgar words, pictures of male genitalia, and derogatory statements directed toward the childcare centre itself.

"Looking at the quality of the writing and 'artwork', it's apparent the authors are barely literate and quite childish.

"Some time last week I also noticed that a nearby play area outside of one of the HDB blocks had spray-painted graffiti all over the benches.

"I do hope this is all cleaned up soon."
