Was enjoying Miel’s cartoon in Straits Times today, when I noticed, to my astonishment and delight, that the maths formulas in the pictures not only made sense, but were correct! Usually such “maths formulas” drawn in cartoons are just gibberish. Miel is indeed multi-talented.
P.S. Those doing A level maths should recognise the formulas for combinations and permutations, and may recognise Stirling’s formula which gives an approximation to the factorial function.
