JOHOR BARU - People will not miss the sight of young triplets and twins who came to register themselves for their first day of school at SK Taman Sri Pulai in Skudai here.
Zuraidah Abdul Kadir brought her triplets who will be in their first year in school.
She said her daughters Nureen Syafinas Harunajip, Nureen Syazana and Nureen Syawani woke up earlier than her to get ready for school in the morning yesterday.
"They woke up extra early to put on their new uniforms for registration day," she said, adding that her eldest son Daniel Azim, 10, also goes to the same school.
Zuraidah, 33, who works as an administrative assistant, said it was common for people to get confused with her triplets as they looked very much alike.
"The teachers at their pre-school centre did not have much of a problem identifying them as they were placed in separate classes.
"But this year, the primary teachers might face some difficulties for a while as two of my daughters will be in the same class," she said.
Nureen Syazana will not be in the same class as her sisters.
"I may not be in the same class but I will get to meet new friends," she said.
The school will also have a pair of twin sisters. Syuhada Sumayyah Iszuhir and Syahada Shaiirah Iszuhir are also enrolling in the same class with the triplets.
Nureen Syafinas said the two are their neighbours and close friends.
"We always play together in the evenings.
"I cannot wait to start classes with my sister and our friends," she added.
Syuhada Sumayyah and Syahada Shaiirah said they wanted to study hard to achieve their ambitions when they grow up.
"I want to be a doctor when I grow up and save as many as lives as possible," Syahada Shaiirah said.
Her sister wants to become a teacher and teach Mathematics, as it is her favourite subject.
