10 rallies tomorrow, one at lunch time

SINGAPORE - There will be a total of 10 election rallies tomorrow (Sept 7), including a lunch time rally beside UOB Plaza in the central business district.
This is a record of sorts - the most number of rallies in one day in this election, so far. Police said in a statement that permits has been issued for the election meetings by the Police Elections Permits Office.
There will be nine rallies in the evening - between 7pm and 10pm - one each by Singapore Democratic Party (SDP), National Solidarity Party, People's Power Party, SingFirst, Workers' Party and Singapore Democratic Alliance. The People's Action Party will be holding three rallies - in Sembawang GRC, Yuhua SMC and Holland-Bukit Timah GRC.
SDP will be holding the lunch time rally between 12pm and 2pm.
