Singapore celebrates its 50th year of independence as host of the 28th SEA Games.

Let us come together to play whatever part we can to make the Games hosted in Singapore a success.

The Government has put in much money, and the Singapore SEA Games organising committee has put in much effort, to look into all details for hosting a successful and special Games.

In the meantime, there has been much talk about the expected results of our athletes.

But as we expect our athletes to shine for Singapore during the Games, let us, as Singaporeans, come out and cheer on our athletes in all the sports, and give them the boost to perform that much better.

As home supporters, let us, together, make that big, loud difference to our athletes, and give them the edge over their opponents with our cheer and presence, so that they may emerge the best in South-east Asia.
