It's carnival time at Changi City Point

Don't know how to keep the family entertained this long weekend?

How about taking them to Changi City Point, which is celebrating its second anniversary this month.

To mark the occasion, the mall will set up a Carnival in the City in its Open Plaza.

Get a free pass to the carnival rides - which include a carousel and slides - by spending $20 in a single same-day receipt (up to a maximum of three carnival tickets per shopper per day).

The carnival, which runs from Friday till May 4, will operate from 1pm to 9pm daily.

There will also be fringe activities such as face painting, balloon sculpting and caricature on weekends (April 19-20, April 26-27 and May 3-4) from 2pm to 6pm.

Those who do not fancy the thrills and spills of the carnival can still take advantage of $2 specials available at many outlets, including Eggs & Berries, The Manhattan Fish Market, Universal Traveller, Grandma's restaurant and StarHub Exclusive Partner.

Another date you should pencil into your diary is April 26 - that's when the mall will hold an outdoor free screening of the 2012 blockbuster movie The Hunger Games at 7.30pm.

Sports lovers will not be left out. Next month, a five-a-side futsal tournament will be held from May 16 to 18. Registration is required for this event.
