Pose-worthy snaps at Marina Square with its festive decor

Marina Square adds a magical touch to its winter-themed Christmas Decorations!

Be mesmerised by the winter-themed Christmas as Marina Square decks the mall white and ushers in the holiday and festive season! Soak up the festive atmosphere, enjoy the picturesque winter wonderland, and win some wonderful prizes too when you snap photos of the decor.

The winter-themed Christmas decorations are arranged in the following layout at Marina Square atrium:

A white Christmas Tree, decorated with a mix of colourful baubles, stands tall at 10-metres at the atrium. The baubles, in sizes of 150mm & 200mm in diameter, are arranged in tiers of hues and exude the joyful mood of the season amid the winter-themed decor. The Christmas Tree gleams in duo pink and white lightings, and is crowned with a lighted snow flake. At the base of the tree stand two dolled-up 3D sculpted reindeers in pretty outfits.

Next to the Christmas Tree is Santa's Hut and a Toy House. Enter the log hut and you'll see the interior decorated with presents, a Christmas Tree, a rocking horse, an arm chair, and Santa's photo frame hanging on the wall. Shoppers can snap a photo inside the cosy hut or pose next to the hut's windows.

The colourful Toy House is filled with '3D fabricated toys' comprising of two toy soldiers, a Jack-in-the-box and alphabet blocks. Capturing your attention is also a colourful toy train that lines across the top of the house. Outside the Toy House is a snow slide with 3D sculpted snowmen.

Near the Toy House is another photo-taking area where Santa's sleigh, 3D sculpted reindeers and penguins, and a red traditional telephone booth are displayed. Both kids and adults can sit on the sleigh or stand inside the telephone booth.

Opposite Santa's Hut is the Kids Fun Zone where children can sit down and have a glitter tattoo or play with Christmas Cards that turn to life through augmented reality. Children can also see three augmented reality snowmen dancing on a platform and take photos with them.

In addition to the beautiful décor display, shoppers can enjoy magical moments with augmented reality and take photos of augmented reality characters such as Santa, reindeers, snowmen, penguins and even augmented reality snow with the atrium displays. Within the mall, the ceilings and railings are decorated with white swags and colourful baubles to heighten the festive ambience. The festive decorations in Marina Square will be displayed from now till Dec 26, 2013.

Shoppers can get creative with their snapshots at the Winter Wonderland and win great prizes. They simply upload their photos on Instagram with the tag @marinasquaresg and hashtag #MarinaSquareChristmas. TEN of the most creative shots will be picked each week from Nov 21 - Dec 25, 2013 and these 50 winners will walk away with $150 worth of dining vouchers.

At the end of this period, TEN photos will be picked by the Organiser from the weekly drawn entries and posted on Marina Square's Facebook to compete for the top THREE "most liked' photos. These top three winners will walk away with more dining vouchers and a Samsung S4 each.
